I was born and raised on my family’s 100 year old wheat and cattle ranch near Pendleton Oregon.  I majored in Biology and Chemistry at Eastern Oregon University, while running Track & Cross County for the Mountaineers, qualifying for two National Collegiate Track Championships in the 800 meters.
After completing the Pre-Med program at EOU, I decided to see a totally different part of the country and I transferred to New York Chiropractic College.  By attending year round, I completed the five-year Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in just under three and a half years, graduating in 2003.
For the remainder of 2003, I worked as a Chiropractic Intern in Buffalo NY, where I cared for a vast array of patients, including Buffalo’s semi-professional football team, and the athletes at the 2003 Women’s 5,000 meter National Championships in Albany, NY.  Because of these opportunities I was one of six chiropractors chosen to care for the athletes at the 2003 Junior Pan-American games, held in Bridgetown Barbados.
In early 2004 I had the opportunity to move back to the Pacific Northwest and open the Boise Health & Wellness Chiropractic Center.  Our office specializes in optimal health and wellness and excels in the care of active adults, athletes, and those who’s injury, fatigue and illness have began to take over their lives.  Our unique, multi-tiered, drug-free approach addresses the Structural(bio-mechanical), Social, and Nutritional aspect of injury, pain, and sickness.  By working with our patients and addressing the cause of your complaints we are extremely successful in producing immediate pain relief as well as lifelong health and vitality.

I am a full time college student, wife and mother of two.  I have been married for 7 years to my wonderful husband Harley.  We have two children ages 6 and 4.  I am currently attending BSU for my bachlors in Business Management and Graphic Design.  I plan to graduate in 2011 and go on for my EMBA and MFA soon after, but until then my plans consist of working, studying hard and enjoying the time I have with my family!

Licensed Massage Therapist;

I am a certified massage therapist currently working with the Boise Health & Wellness Chiropractic Center.  I received my education at Milan Institute of Boise and have been an active massage therapist since 2006.  Previous to my massage orientation, I have attended several years of college locally and on the east coast with particular attention to psychology and sociology.  Iʼve always had a desire to understand and help people; with massage, I am able to do that physically and psychologically through direct touch.  Massage gives a great feeling of satisfaction for client and therapist alike.
Having been brought up in a military household, I have had the privilege of experiencing many diverse experiences, which have resulted in my many varied interests.  I enjoy being active in sports and enjoy the outdoors, as well as seeing what the world has to offer and what I have to offer others.  I plan to continue in education and use my varied skills towards an enduring goal of assisting others.
